I might get railed for this but gotta know.
The weight capacity of the M416 is 500lbs? Right?
With a roof tent @150lb
water 20 gal @ 160LB
propane15-20lb
battaries15-20lb
spare tire ?lb
engel 50-60lb(empty)
camping crap100-150lb chairs, bedding, lighting, shower, awning, cookware, table
beer a lot ?lb (1 way)
won't the trailer be overloaded in short order. Not to mention when 1 or 2 folks climb into the tent.
These are most of the common things I see loaded onto trailers.
Please educate me.
Before I build my trailer and it breaks before departure.

I think it is 750# on road and 500# off road, but that might be what it will float with....dunno. I have had one full of gravel before, like a TON and the springs were not flattened out. I did not go very far, but still.....;)

The TM says for payload
500 cross country
750 highway
for weight on wheels
350 empty
828 cross country
1076 highway

I don't think you'll have any problem. My M101 CDN is built the same and has carried huge loads before. Generally, it is loaded down with water, gasoline, my Honda generator, etc and I can't even get the springs to flatten when filled to the rim. I am sure that the M416 is the same.

Hi,
Aren't you going to have trailer jacks under it once you get where you're going? That should make any weight (tent occupants) meaningless, if she's set up level and the wheels chocked

Enjoy!
