Not really a truck build.
But hey, its going behind the Land Cruiser or Tacoma.
Picked up this M101 yesterday, not bad shape with the tailgate already cut out, both hitches 1,7/8 ball and stock Hook and claw and wired for 12V. Guy had the wrong tire on it, so he gave me two spare tires with it.
400$ :D
I learned to drive stick on the Iltis and learned to back trailer with the M101, but still this thing is hard to see behind the Taco. I think I am a pretty good trailer backer, but yeterday jack-knifed this thing into my Taco and dented my rear quarter panel. Oh well, stuff happens

Started sanding off the rust and will just paint it black for now. May do a full build up on it when I get time or need to mount the RTT to it. I like some of the ideas out there for a slide out kitchen and such. But for now it will carry the bikes and fuel while camping or long trips in the Cruiser.

Yeah, you can't see them for crap back there and they're easy to jack-knife. It helps to lower the tailgate. You might also consider a flag that you can stick on for backing. :)

That's a darn good price for a M101 CDN. Needs some love, though. I'd do some reinforcing with that butchered tailgate, otherwise the sides are going to turn floppy on you.

With those OEM tires, be very careful as those tires are really old and dry by now and no recent production.

Completed sanding (CARP) wore a mask. And put a first coat of Rust Paint on it. Going to rain tonight so pushed it next to the Land Cruiser for the night ( i think they will get along great :ymhug: ) Hopefully a coat tomorrow night, because I am going away for a month Thursday :( .

Great deal on the CDN101! Looking good.

Now if it won't behave itself next to your LC I'm sure we could find it a good home. :)

Figured I would upload some new pictures. Trailer has work great and had a buddy build a lid for it last summer.
