I do not venture overhere, but I figured you guys would want to know if you don't already. Gieser Bros. Racing out of AZ is preping an LX 570 for the 500 and 1000. I do not have any other info other that what i just said. I figured those with connection in the Baja Racing/desert racing world could come up with more info. This info came from a person at TRD USA. Don't know if I was supposed to say anything or not.

Same person has said that they have test fitted the 200 series with the supercharger and the launches are incredible. He said the times were better than the SRT10 Dodge truck(viper 500hp/525tq) of 0-60 in 5.3sec. Again this is all I know from a conversation I had with him in an airport.

for nothing! Why would you bother posting if you have nothing to back this up with.

That's pretty cool! Thanks for the info.

You are right. I should have held on to that little nugget of info, but I felt I should atleast get it out there so those who might be interested could follow up on it. Its not like I am just spearding misinformation(of course you would not know that). The guy from TRD just felt like telling me as an FYI while he as so kindly providing a prize for the raffle that is going to be held at Lone Star Land Cruiser Roundup '09. I am sure others in the desert racing world could do a little of research with this lead. But it seams that you are to hell bent to felx your e-nuts here on Mud. :flipoff2:

Not flexing nuts of any kind...I'd tell you the same thing in person...just hate rumors.

Hopefully someone can find out some more info, a supercharger for the LC would make my day. To bad I have no way of finding any information, unless they were building one for snow racing too. No desert racing up here.

I agree. I hate rumors too. Sorry I can not put out more info. I will ask him specifically next time for more info. I just hate being that guy.

I figured coming from one of the marketing guys for TRD USA it is pretty plausible. He wasn't trying to sell me or anything, just tallking as enthusiasts. Let me clarify, the supercharger has been fitted at TRD USA not Gieser Bros Racing(they may have, but I do not know).

TRD was doing testing before they released the supercharger for the Tundra. He did say that they had to put on a set of wider tires to put the power to the ground, but the launches were incredible after the new rubber was attached. The 200 Series for the Baja was a different side note during a different conversation. He says their main customers are from the middle east, where a couple princes, sultans, and/or sheiks(sp?) have fleets of suspercharged 80s and 100s. Some of the deliveries via UPS go by first name only, no address, other that a region or country.

This wont be a problem for the LC200 as it's full-time 4WD. I can't imagine 4 tires spinning stationary! You'd need a hell of a lot more HP to accomplish that...
