LX450 purchase

Hi everyone,

Let me first start off that I'm a newbie on the site who is in the process of purchasing his first FJ80 and I have a few questions. I've surfed the forum some and I cant find any current information on the seat extenders, which i believe are referred to as Landtank. Is this vendor still available? I'm only 6'0" tall, but for some reason I feel a little cramped in the drivers seat. Any current info on Landtank would greatly be appreciated. Secondly, where can I purchase a scan guage for this vehicle? I'm not sure exactly the type or brand I need to look for. Thanks everyone....

A scanguage can be bought directly from the manufacturer -

ScanGaugeII - Trip Computers + Digital Gauges + Scan Tool

Any OBDII scanner should work - but it's kinda fun to have the trip computer etc that the scangauge offers in the truck - that way it's always on hand to diagnose problems.

Hmm, I thought I read something around here saying he was finished making them. He may still have some available though. Your best bet would be to PM the user "Landtank." Ask if he's still making them, if he's got any for sale, or if he knows of anyone who might have an extra set to sell.

I know what you mean about feeling cramped. I am only 5'10" and I drive with the seat all the way back! I have never been in any other car where having the seat fully back was the most comfortable for me... im average height! If I were any taller, I'd need the extenders myself.
