Hi All,

I am in search of info on disabling AVS on the LX 600. Has anybody done it? Any vendors know how to? :)

Thanks in advance.

Seems like if King is telling you it has to be done wouldn't they be able to share with you how to do it?

Or are they telling you it will fit but never have done it since they haven't shared how to do it.

Not sure, could be a liability issue by not sharing it? Either way, hopefully someone will know. I have 4-6 months as that is the current lead time apparently.

You will have to do this at your own risk and seems like you would be the first to try.

I would start by doing the following:
  • disconnect battery
  • remove any fuses that have to do with AVS\AHC
  • disconnect absorber control computer\active height control computer
  • let it sit for awhile
  • reconnect battery
  • See what happens

That is what I did for the LX570, you can see my thread on it in my sig.

Hi @turbo8

I actually read the entire thread yesterday. Thank you for reporting everything in your thread, I am sure it has helped a lot of people including myself.

I am not sure if I want to pioneer this haha, as I am not a mechanic by any means. My 2023 F sport here in Canada does not have the AHC, so I think my lift would be a lot easier than what you did.

With a lead time of 4-6 months, I am hoping someone will figure out how to disable AVS.
