Ok. I need to get rid of these stupid street Michelin tires. I have an LX 570 so I have the 20" wheels. I am not looking for a tire to conquer the rubicon or anything. Just something a little more aggressive.

Here are my options:

1) if I stick with the factory size of 285/55/20 I can get Nitto Terra Grapplers with a 116S rating P Metric.

2) if I step up to 285/55/20 I have a lot more options but they are LT tires that are D and E rated.

I don't want to give up drivability. How much rougher would an LT tire be?

I had a noticeable increase in harshness going from stock to the E-rated LT (Toyo ATs). Might have been less with a D-rated tire.

I would vote for the P Nitto TGs if you are not going to spend a lot of time towing.

You're two choices look ... surprisingly the same.

Sorry. The stock tires are 285/50/20 which is the size of the Nitto Terra Grapplers.
