Is the meeting still taking place at Pappa's BBQ?

Also, what kind of items are people bringing? I have some things but not sure if they are appropriate (oem 62 springs/ubolts if a 60 owner is planning to go SOA, 10.5" diameter TEQ vinyl decal, etc)... yay/nay?

brandon, bring it all. if it doesn't sell, you get it back, but if it does sell, then the money goes to the charity. everything is appropriate, as long as it's functional. doesn't even have to be cruiser related.

A GREAT BIG THANK YOU to all who turned out for the auction, bbq and beer. Thanks to the generousity of those who were there, we were able to raise an additional $1000 to send to Operation Comfort from the auction. I am overnighting our donation checks from LSLC and TTR in the morning for a total of $3000.

You guys and gals are the best........

A quick update as we have just returned home from the OC weekend. Yesterday was a fantastic day at the Lonesome Dove ranch with the wounded warriors. They were blown away when a caravan of 40 Cobras and support vehicles came putting down the MUDDY ranch road, pulled up and started unloading stuff. In addition to the car kit, they received 3 engines (1 ready to go into the car plus a couple of 302 project engines), a transmission and clutch, wheels and tires, battery, a massive commercial air compressor, an engine hoist, a Hunter wheel changing machine, misc spare parts and more shop tools than you'd find in a Snap-On van. The money donated by LSLC and Baertrax was added with other cash donations that totaled over $6300. Because the costs of the kit and related items and parts were already paid for or donated, the LSLC donation will be deposited and closely managed by OC and will be used SOLELY to procure any items the soldiers need to finish the car.

Once the car is done in the spring, arrangements will be made to get it to the next scheduled Barrett Jackson auction where it will be auctioned off with 100% of the proceeds going back to the Automotivation program at OC.

I will be following up with the director at OC next week to get our logos on their website. Any and all of you are welcome at the ranch anytime to meet and work with the soldiers. And there will be at least one wrenching weekend this coming spring and LSLC is welcome to come work with the soldiers on the Cobra or any of the other cool projects. Pics to follow later tomorrow.

Thanks again.

Jim
