Lowering transfer case after lift?

Please show us the clearance you have with the double cardan in a 74 with full droop of the front axle.
In my case I would have to cut into the cross member and reinforce it.

I don't have it yet, I'm not sure of the difference between a 70 and 74 as far as that cross member... I do know that the transfercase output flange needs to be changed out to the pre 1985 smaller bolt pattern to use the toyota DC joint from a 60 series on the modified shaft...

Finally got my DC drive shaft installed and took it out and 4wd is now 100% smooth... The shaft it replaced with single universal joints is still in great shape due to it being a JDM unit with no play or tight spots in the universals or splined shaft... I just wanted to be sure to update the tread for anyone else having a vibration issue after a lift in a SWB 70 series that wants to use 4wd at speed again!

Thanks Sheldon at G&S for having and selling me a nice used unit!

Side note the persons truck it came off solved the same issue when he had the DC shaft made!
Cheers
