I am almost home from a 1-week delivery from Washington DC to Ft. Lauderdale. Trip stops have been Norfolk, Beaufort (NC), Georgetown, SC, and tonight in Thunderbolt, GA. The coastal lowlands of SC are really Beautiful. The matrix of rivers and waterways are too cool, The tides are pretty extreme, although I think we are on a new moon.

Anyways, the point I am trying to make is that the lowlands are really pretty cool and I thoroughly enjoyed sailing through this area.

Tell me about it. I can't think of anywhere I would rather live than the Lowlands of the Carolinas. One of the most beautiful parts of this country. I think a lot of people in the US don't realize just how beautiful and unique our eco-system is. Being out here in California for a month has really made me appreciate home.
