Los Coyotes GPS Overlay

Hey all, I decided to take the Just Runs map of the Los Coyotes trails, pull out the topo lines and overlay it in Google Earth using the GPS data from our run. I've attached the .kmz file to the post so feel free to import it into your GPS.

Wow, that is very cool. Is it me or does it look like you can go past the Helo Pad and follow that dirt road for a good long ways?

Looking at Milo's overlay and comparing it to my track on Gaia, I'm confident Milo, Anne and I dropped down Appian way and got as far as the intersection to the Oasis. Pretty solid grade on the way down - loose and dusty - but a beautiful canyon. The trail at the bottom had clearly not been used in quite some time - really overgrown. Big mud bog at the bottom where we turned around - in Google Earth someone has posted some great pictures showing the entry by foot from Anza Borrego into Cougar Canyon where the two intersect. Always more to explore.

I'm confident Milo, Anne and I dropped down Appian way and got as far as the intersection to the Oasis.

It would be interesting to head down there again after the marsh at the bottom dries up a bit. I'm curious about what Old Mine is like at the end.
