wonder if they'll trade for mine? :D

what tag is on there....assuming canada.....right hand drive or left...tell them you will do an even trade and that you will be kind enough to let them keep the damage multiplier.

Good eye Dave. I noticed it is left hand drive, oooooohhhhhh, I want. Too bad all the legal crap makes it so difficult and expensive to import these. I would kill for a turbo diesel. Pretty random sighting, and very cool. Thanks for sharing.

Edit: I could do without the hood emblem, but I would be more than willing to remove and repaint for the benefit of the drivetrain.:D

Check into it Dave... I would buy it.... btw you owe me a lead for the INTI rack.......

sorry, I was looking at the pics on my cell phone internet (not the biggest screen).....what a perfect platform to build the greatest expedition rig ever....maybe I should just sell chikin in central america.smit

I am thinking swap vin plates, all glass, door jamb stickers... Hmmm. That still leaves the sticky situation with the engine block. Ok, inscribing tool or letter/number punch set and welding/sanding/polishing to fill the old. This just might work.

so marbles....how loud is the diesel? It would suck to go through all that trouble and get the inspector with the good ear:doh: .

I have a better solution just swap the motor.... into a out of state truck and then bring it into califorina as a diesel.......

Really just a pipe dream. The diesel is probably not that loud but very distinctive.

That is a good idea, do the bellhousing and spline count match? If they do we are in.

Dave, let us know how much he wants for it. ;)
