I don't always use my winch, but when I do, I tear up my synthetic...

Looking to swap to cable. I'm just too hard on this stuff.

Anyone have anything? Can pick it up at the Ramble. Thanks!
 
David S has a post here on the rlc page from a few months ago and has a fair lead and cable for sale.

I'm not tech savvy. But I did stay in a Holiday inn express last night.
 
Jordan, I have a WARN Roller Fairlead you can have. If you want it, I can bring it to the Ramble. Might cost you one :beer: and a ride in Snoop.

Blame me for his easy choice in trails. Next time will be better, I was just getting my feet wet. If he doesn't like the Yeungling, he isn't American.
 
When I say "out", I mean get out of my vehicle and walk. The joke behind that is I flopped Snoop-a-Doop this past weekend. Oops!!!

Jordan, any irreversible damage done to Snoop the 4Runner? I saw the pics but couldn't tell. Did the cab get tweaked? Also, I liked that recovery!
 
Self-recovery is the only way to erase some of the shame of s***ty driving :o

Unfortunately, there was no way around how the synthetic was run, and I lost about 15' or rope in the process. So... that's why I'm going back to cable.

I don't always winch, but when I do, it's never an easy recovery...

Snoop's passenger B-pillar was pushed in a little. I think a hi-lift will bring it back out, or a strong guy giving it a donkey kick, or a porta-power. I'm not too worried about it. Snoop is just going to keep losing body and getting more beat up. I've come to terms with it. It is what it is... The next one will be armored to keep cleaner from the get go. It's my first project, so ya learn these things.

After the first body damage, it's all downhill. Do all in your power to keep it clean.

Ramble? Memorial Day weekend run? My money being funneled to Snoop has hit a dry spell. And even then, I have no time to work on him :rolleyes:
