Gents,

Its a long shot, in the dark, but I'm looking for whomever ended up with my rusty old mustard yellow FJ40...

A younger fella from Baton Rouge area bought it from me when I was living near Alexandria.

Any leads on this?

Yes Cole bought it and ended up selling the 40 he bought from you and his 100 series and got out of the Cruiser scene all together. He had planned to build a crawler with your FJ40 but I guess life happened and he ended up parting it out and got out of the scene all together :meh:

Ah, so he parted it? Shame....... Was hoping to bring it to Texas so my FJ62 would have a little sister.

Life happens to us all. I sold it to move to Texas...

Indeed it does, I had to sell my first one I restored to put down my %20 on our first house luckily 7 years later my wife encouraged me to get another and we started this club needless to say she's probably regretting that push about now  We've had many friends come and go over the years and many still check in from time to time and I'll bet when they catch back up with life they'll be looking to join us again and hopefully we're still here for them to join us

Glad to hear you got back in it with the 62.

If he parted it out, does anyone here have any bits or pieces left of it?

I don't recall who all got parts from it or I'd point you in that direction.

I think I wound up with the engine from that rig but wound up selling it as I sold the blue 77FJ40 before I had a chance to transplant it so I could buy Brian's 78. Sold it to someone on MUD in the Dallas or Houston area (he lived in one area but was having the truck restored in the other). I don't recall his screen name though. Getting old is a bitch!! I can't seem to remember anything any more. :bang:
