Received my 9249FCK IPF light driving light kit for my arb combo. The problem is the lack of directions for mounting the lights to the bumper. There is a back of springs, nuts, bolts etc. Also, those of you that installed them yourself....were you able to just plug and play with the factory driving light plugs?
Thanks in advance,
BendFJ

the two long screws that go into the light housing, put in outer holes on the bracket, slide springs over them and screw into light housing. Then on the plastic inserts, shorter screws that came with the bumper(hole in the plastic cover otherwise) go thru the plastic inserts into the metal bracket. Boom, done they're mounted. Make sure to take the inserts off instead of attempting to mount on the vehicle.

The wiring, I cut my factory foglight harness off(lights side, not vehicle side), cut the ends of the ARB harness, did some connecting and the fogs now plug directly into the OEM wiring. I didnt see the reason to need to add the whole ARB harness as the fogs are only 55w just like the OEM fogs.

I guess you could get some bullet connectors actually and wire the OEM plug with the pigtails you create into your IPFs. I was too lazy to find them, maybe one day I will if I feel like cleaning it up.

Loud,
Well, I'm not so stupid after all....well maybe a little. I called ARB tech support to find out why I didn't have any place to secure my fog lights to. As it turns out... three months ago, ARB change the 100 series light housings to accept their new lights. It's a good thing, since they thought the IPF's at $300+ was excessive. They now have a smaller housing with different lights ($85) which has different dimensions than the 9249FCK driving light kit version.
As you might have known...three months ago my LC was hit head on and had $9K in front end damage. At that point, I had the body shop install the ARB combo '03 style. I had no idea that they had made a change to the existing bumper. Long story longer, I tried to install the lights, opened up the bag and now neither Torasport or ARB will take them back. I posted them for sale here and fjcruiserforums for $275 plus shipping if anyone is interested.

ARB feels sorry for me so they are shipping the lights to me at cost. You are not going to believe the mark up. Nice of them to do since I bit the bullet and forked out 300 clams for $25 set of IPF
lights

On WTF arb! You suck, 85$ lights!!!!
