Does anyone know about Balch Park. It has been a regular spot for our family each year.
The most recent info I could find is that they last stocked in June. Has this place turned into a mud puddle from drought and county $$$ issues? Wanting to go up the 1st week end in Aug, which is a little on the late side for Balch, as the ponds have a tendency to get over grown with weeds and algae.

Anyone know how close the fire is in relation to Balch?

Too my knowledge, there is no fire near Balch Park.

A very small one sparked up a few weeks ago but was quickly put out.

Thanks D I was considering taking the family up there to camp a while ago. But you know late July, and the stocking program thrown off kilter due to warm water temps at the friant hatchery.
