This may not help but that is scam run by them bastids.

A few yeares back I rented a trailer from them, My truck had a standard 4 plug connection, Like every other frikin vehicle on the road almost. Since their trailers are wired with the 4 post deal, They must sell you the connector to hook up to their trailer to your standard pig tail . for like 15 bucks, There is no way around it and you cant leave with out it. Total BS.

The last few times they have let me borrow them if needed, but I ended up buying the first one a few years back. and I keep with just in case.

Best bet is to call a uball and tell them you accidentially unhooked it. They should be able to tell you brown to this and green to that.

scam x 2! ditto the 'accident'.

if you have to use the company regularly, invest in the adaptor. I try to use budget or RSC when I need a car-hauler.

Your U haul is as easy as it can get White ground, green (R) Right. Yellow (L) left turn, Black tail and brake. 4 wire junk, get a 7 pin and prepare to do it right, add 3 wires and add accessories, brakes lights etc.

agreed on the scam. I no longer request/mention that I might tow. I gotta say everyF-ing time I rent from uhaul its a "keep your fingers crossed" feeling..The last time thye overcharged us for a samller truck than they promised us.....At pickup the guy said "well, I don't want to jinx you but the larger truck you wnated is older and this ones newer".....Seems like he was crossing his fingers as well.....WTF?
