I know that is a bit out there, but I have a speed triple and I can't get the damn thing to start. Anybody out there that can help or at least point me in some kind of direction so I don't have to take this thing to the dealership?

Thanks in advance

I just remember listening to a guy at work that has one talk about it. Something about some wiring harnass which is a pain in the ass and comes loose.

I am sure there is some forum on the internet somewhere for these.

I had a thunderbird 900 that did that once. It was because I trailered it and forgot to turn off the fuel so it fouled the plugs.

Ok! here we go.If it is 97model onwards. I have a Daytona T595.97model 85000km.
When starting the bike the clutch lever needs to be pulled in.Some times the micro switch(like the one on the brake, which activates the brake light can become dirty!!It happens to me.Just depress starter button and slowly pull in clutch until the switch activates.(should start)When new the lever had to be fully pulled in to work.Over time I could not start it in this way,but it would start if it was just pulled in slightly.Try that and let me know.I Have worked as a salesman at a Yamaha shop for ten years(while owning a TRIUMPH)and now they have just taken on a Triumph dealership.I'm not an expert but owning a trumpy(obsessed with)for 9years I may be able to help.
