Long term review of K&N CAI

We all get excited by our new mods and tell everyone we know how its the best (fill in product name here) on the market and we explain all the reason we choose product X. But over time does that glowing praise fad, or are you still pleased with your purchase?

Well here is a write up, Long-term Report - K&N Cold Air Intake This report follows a year of use in all sorts of conditions, and reflects our real world experience with the K&N CAI for the the FJ Cruiser.

Its always been my belief that to increase flow you must decrease filter effectiveness.

I miss the old oil bath on my baja bug... you could drive through a sand storm... sure it was messy if you got sideways and well the little vw engine only had four squirrels making it go... but that air filter did its job with very little worry if you kept it flat.
