We've got a M101 CDN 1/4 ton trailer and plan to continue using a lunette. What I've been wondering is whether or not there is a longer lunette than what came with the trailer available?

I don't want to lengthen the current lunette by cutting and welding it, as I've seen some do. Looking strictly for a part that would bolt right into the existing lunette receiver/landing leg casting, if such a thing exists.

If someone made longer replacement lunettes for the US M100 and M416, and the CDN M101, they're have a landmark business. It's tough enough finding a regular replacement lunette.

I think even 4" would be great, 6" more would be like heaven (but, heh all guys say that:rolleyes: as any gal will testify). It's just the way that it jacknifes behind the 80.

The front bumpers/handles get right on the bumper corner on the truck. It's no big deal backing around in town, I can get out and look easily enough. Someplace in the Rockies, it might not be so easy on the switchback.

I'm actually pretty good about when to say when and the problem could be worse, but I'm old-fashioned in the way I prefer a hardware solution to a soft(-headed)ware solution.:)
