I 'am in the starting stages of cutting out the rusty spots on the floors in my 77 FJ40. I bought a pan off the internet. it is flat and I need the one that goes under the peddles as well. I could bend up some of the floor pan I got but there is some tricky shapes around the trans tunnel I do not think I can reproduce. I was talking to some one about replacement parts for cruisers and they said that there was a guy in Duluth that makes pans and other metal parts. Is this the case? If not were are some good places to order from?

If you can bolt on the trans tunnel, it shouldn't be that difficult to patch, curve & bend some 18 guage to line up with the tranny tunnel holes. I know the area you're talking about & there are many compound bends, right at the base of the gas pedal. I had to repair mine on the '78. The main problem I had was trying to find some weldable metal to attach the newer steel as I kept burning thru

Thanks for the link. I will give them a call or I might just bend and shape some metal.
