After a long pause, things are on the move.

Two pallets of parts have been shipped from Ontario today!

I moved the 79 around to get ready to put the 12HT back into my HJ61...and picked a bad day. It was raining on and off all day and the pastures turned to slick grease. Turns out it really does take two people to drag around a rolling chassis without intact steering. So I think the truck will just sit here in the mud for a couple of days until 1) either it dries out around here or 2) I find friends.

More rain. More mud. No motion of truck.

That's Panama style rain right there. I bet she feels right at home.

I was going to say the same thing.

I have seen 2-3ft rivers in the streets down south during the rainy season.

Cheers

The pastures dried out and I hauled the pickup back beside the barn with Marilu.

Parts arrive from the great north tomorrow, tentatively.

Believe it or not, both inbound crates arrived! A massive 7’ x 5’ x 4’ crate from Canada full of 70 series parts came along with a set of axles.… On the same day that my 12HT from @roma042987 arrived.

The 70 series gigantic crate will be brought home by @Spallet on his NPR truck. I can’t wait to dig in and get started!

For clarification, the 10-year-old is standing next to the 12HT crate. I’ll have him stand next to the 70 series parts crate tomorrow for reference. It is literally twice as big.

5 lug full float axles? Looks like manual cable locked??? What are those out of?

Those are new take off 79 axles and they are not cable locked- it’s the brake line guide I think you’re looking at.

I’m working all dang day today, but here’s a little bit:

As Tommy said, insert Xzibit quote here:

“Yo dawg I heard you like trucks so much we put a bed on your bed!”

Kei truck getting a workout, helping move the 79 bed to a TOTALLY SAFE SPOT under the trees.

Kei trucks are rad. Buy one if possible.

For a dose of non-Cruise wholesomeness, here’s @davegonz petting a new baby foal, because it’s cute.

Awwwwww.

I am not a horse person, I don’t ride, but my wife and kids do. However, I am totally smitten with this foal. It might actually be the cutest thing I’ve ever seen.
Hopefully, if I can get out of work during daylight hours, I can get @Spallet to drop off the giant box of 70 series parts at the ranch.

I also was able to score a hood without the hood ornament, as well as some doors and fenders from a guy on Facebook. @roma042987 is going to go over to East Alabama and pick them up. I owe you, Roma.

Screenshot of the FB ad under the TLCA group page. Nice guy, decent prices.
