so im not sure this is the right section, but theyre electronic so here goes...
i have a pair of hella 1000s (non-hid) with a procomp switch kit... theyve worked great for a while now, but now they wont turn on...
the solenoid clicks with i flip the switch and the switch lights up, all the wiring and connections seem to be good (nothing is loose or shorting), the lights are wired correctly, and the bulbs arent burned out...
could the solenoid be dead? it seems like a cheap lil unit, and im sorta new to electricity, so is there a good way to test the solenoid? unplug the lead to the lights and touch it to a ground briefly to see if it sparks? anything else yall can think of that may be wrong?
