I have had my LG high efficiency front load washer and dryer for about a year now.I love them but i don't think my washer gets the white clothes white enough. They actually come out looking kind of grey.I think my old top load machine got them whiter.I don't know why they aren't getting white.Even using bleach doesn't help.Does anyone else have this problem and know what to use to fix this problem? Thanks!

Are you running short washes (cycles)?

I found out that mine doesn't clean as good on the shorter cycles, it takes longer, but the longer cycles clean better.

just a guess

Which model do you have? I have one of the cheaper LG models which does not heat it's own water. The wash cycle was never getting hot enough to get clothes very clean. I switched the hot and cold input lines and run the machine on the "cold" setting which is now hot. It works much better now.
