Alright, i know everyone here has been back and forth about wanting to have a more active club. With such a wide variety of cruisers owners spread across the state it is tough for everyone at a given time to meet in a location convinient for everyone. What I would like to propose is that we create some sort of schedule for upcoming events.
I know we have various invitations from several neighboring clubs to join them in many various events they are holding. This is a great time for not only NC members to meet one another but also a great time for us to meet other members of the neighboring clubs. At the same time this create motivation to get things moving and more organized here in NC.
We have a club list which Chad has created for us and hopefully everyone has had a chance to add their information to that list if they were unable the first time around. I would like to get everyone's input of the type of events not only wheeling but also gathering's, wether it be at an individuals house to work on our cruiser, or wether it be at a given destination to grab dinner and possibly a few beers.
Two events in the upcoming months that are availble, thanks to Upstate Cruisers are:
1) Cruiser the BR Parkway, September 30th.
2) North Meets South at Uwharrie at the beginning of December
Hopefully many of you will be able to join these events, and it will spark future club events down the road. I am open to any ideas you all might have and look forward to getting things moving forward towards a more organized club.
