leaking speedodmeter cable

I have 76 fj40 that i just started leaking oil from the top of the speed cable under the dash. I only does it when I get up to 45mph or so. Some of the cable exterior is cracked near the t/c. I am just curious if anyone has had similiar problem.
I live in fort worth and I am looking for mechanic refferal.

Someone around here might have a used cable for ya, or Spector has aftermarket cables for around $20.
