ld28 diesel bolts to what bell housing?

I found a six cylinder maxima diesel engine, i guess it's a ld28. It's a non turbo and is mated to a 3 speed auto. would this bolt to a 720's tranny? do i need a diesel bell housing? it seems like it would have enough power for a 720, no?

does it share the same bell pattern as the sd series? and is the sd series different from the gasser bell's?

sd bellhousing will not fit ld28 you will need nissan 720 box for l or z seaires
