I had both of my LCA bolts snap at the bottom bolt yesterday. Does anyone have any Idea way?

I have Sonoran Steel LCAs. They may have snapped some time earlier in the day and come free on the washboard roads. Wheeling in Sandstone Canyon and Lower Coyote Creek.

I would say you did not get very good grade bolts. So have an experienced person look and determine what grade to get, I have changed all of mine to a better grade. Some manufactures send out he cheapest hardware even if the product cant be touched.. the employee saves a couple cents here, and they get a bonus type deal.

Give me a call today. The bolts were metric grade 10.9. We don't send out cheap hardware.

You also should have received a new set of nuts for the links as well, did you get those?

Just give me a call, I can resolve this much faster on the phone than posting on a BBS.

Thanks for the prompt action, problem solved. New hdwr is being sent to me. Thanks again. Love these LCA - Sonoran Steel

what was the problem? bad bolts? wrong installation? excessive wheeling?

Original nuts were shaken off, bolts were jarred out. Steve at sonoran steel sent replacement hdwr and the new locking nuts work great along with a little blue locktite.
