2011 LC79, Workmate, wondering whats involved with retrofit of fog lights ? New stalk and relay ?

Would foglights out of OEM Steel bumper fit the OEM Toyota Steel bullbar, by any chance ?

Thank,

Cheers,

S

Easy way is a standalone harness with its own relay triggered by the park light since the stalk does not have a fog switch separate from the light switch (on our Africa spec Cruisers at least). The OEM bullbar i know uses OEM fog lights but you can upgrade them with ARB's large LED oval fog lights

Thank you, I was going to order a new stalk from Amayama and a relay, did same with base spec 200 LC, just not sure if its that simple with the LC79. Thanks for the ARB confirmation.

You're welcome and yes, it's as simple as that. We do this retrofit about once a month and then also add an override switch to allow the user to switch off the fog lights if he/she so were to choose. This latter option is handy in day-to-day traffic where the fogs are bright LED lights in aftermarket bullbars.
