Need options, my LC 100 is a 1hdt 12v with a 5 speed gear box. My prob is my cruising speed at 120kph is at 3k. My top speed is also a joke.

I'd like to change my final gear? I'm happy with the 1 to 4 and want to leave that stock.

Any suggestions? I'm running 33's.

This is a big issue that many of us are faced with. Best options; re-gear, but finding the right parts is challenging. I believe it's 3:73 that you want with hi pinion? 2nd option, rubber overdrive. Ran 33's, was crap, went to 35's and was better, thinking about 37's now.
My understanding is the tranny in these, the gears are pressed in and not placed in. Makes it difficult to change. Don't know if there are any transfer case options??
G'luck and if you learn anything keep the community posted.

That's what I was afraid off. Safari website says they have a 5th gear high speed option. I called today and they don't carry it.

Anyone else find a solution for this? I'd try the 35 option but don't think I can stick anything more than 34's on the ifs model.

Without a lift, 35's could be an issue. You may want to consider a set of tall skinny tires such as the 255/85/16 or 285/75/17, depending on the wheels you are running; I am going with the latter as they are just over 34" in the Toyo MT.

Well I do have a lift and diff drop kit by slee. I'm maxed it out already. I'm actually on 285/75 R16. Don't think the 35's will fit.
