Hi all,

Do you have any info or link about this rack type?
I would need:
1. Dimmensions,
2. Loadability,
3. Weight
data, or link where I can find them

Are them really Factory/genuine solution for LC70/80?

Thx a lot!

Well if you want a full length rack that is not for you! But it looks very sturdy and being aluminum I’m sure you can retrofit it for lights. Who cares if it looks strange as long as it’s functional? Unless you do!

Is that your 80 pictured? Tell us about and show some photos of an 80 from Budapest.

The car in the picture is not mine (tought it is a nice one).

Will send some pictures about mine in couple of minutes

Here goes the white LC80.
Have already a roof rack but it is steel and so very heavy...

Was thinking to replace it with a lighter one, since I need one for the already existing LED bar and also for other additional lamps and also for the future windscreen protector cables to be added (between bumper and rack)

Having messed with 'light' and 'heavy' racks, I wouldn't discount a heavy rack if you actually intend to use it offroad.
And by that I mean if you expect to put as much stuff up top as say, that Defender next to you in the one pic, a heavy rack will keep that stuff in place much better than a light, thin aluminum one.
Dynamic load bearing is critical with weight up high.

Probably will never have so much stuff on the roof... But can happen a roof tent to be there temporary.

My primary goal would be to put the lights (front, side and rear), also to attach the front screen protecting cable...
For this reason looking for a lighter solution.

Or how else do you all suggest mentioned items could be mounted with no rack?

About having significant load (as in Defender case) vs rack material is a good observation, Thx.

Not sure you have a choice with a rooftop tent. Most of those are 100 pounds+ (46k?). Some up to 300 pounds (135k?). No way a 'light weight' rack will support that. Which leaves you either using no rack and mounting the tent with just crossbars. Or sticking with a 'heavy' rack and mounting the tent to that.
The rack you have there, if it's steal as you say, should be fine for mounting the RTT. Highly recommend at least one more pair of gutter mounts for it (if not 2 more pairs).
When not running the RTT, and you expect maybe half as much stuff up top as that Defender has, a 'light weight' rack might be ok.
