Hey fellas,

I know this is last minute but JackZilla and I hadn't cemented our plans until just the other day, and I've been swamped with school work so I really didn't give any thought into how camping this weekend would turn out.

The original plan was to run as much of the surprise lake trail as possible and find somewhere cozy to have a huge fire and drink some beers up in the woods.

We've shifted fire and will now be heading to Evans Creek to see if we can score one of the covered pavilions up in the campground. We're heading up early this afternoon, so getting a spot shouldn't be an issue.

With that being said, there's the always "Anybody's welcome to join us" invitation that we maintain with all of our trips to this area.

I know this is way short term, but if anybody out there was kicking around the idea of getting out tonight, head on up!

Here's some shots of the site we're trying to get: (taken by JackZilla's :princess: in November, featuring JackZilla, myself, my :princess:, the pups, and of course the Cruisers!)

Damn I didn't get a call.

Well we didn't make it to the spot we wanted but we did get close. Nothing like breaking bead on your front tire in 4 feet of snow. Should of taken pics but was more fixated on getting the spare on. Lesson learned: don't winch to much on a tire that is aired down to 20psi.

You broke the bead?

You broke the bead?

Oh yeah... passenger side front, it was a hoot.

Had to hilift her by the ARB and throw the spare on in a ton of snow. There was some digging involved, to say the least

You broke the bead?

I don't think I broke the bead like you are thinking. Just popped the rubber off of the rim, so basically just a flat tire. Probably could of re-seated it but decided the spare was the easier option.

Yeah that was what i was thinking. Thats the term we use in Hawaii when the bead breaks from the rim. Quick fix though. Brake cleaner and a match.

Call me up next time you guys go.

yeah, that thought had crossed our minds but we opted for the spare tire. The last thing I needed was scorched eye brows to go with my flat tire.
