Hey Folks, I know several folks are at our June ride at Canyon Ferry today but for those of you still around Bozeman I wanted to throw out a possible meet up. I am currently camping up at Chisolm in Hyalite this weekend and just dropped down to the house for a couple chores. I will be heading to Langohr trail/road by noon today. I will stop at Cottonwood Rd. Town Pump to top off the 40 and then stop at the bridge on Langohr Rd. to air down. My plan will be to go to the top and if no one is there, i'll build a little fire for lunch and afterwards explore some of the offshoots from the main road. I have a creek rod loaded and may stop and fish on way out depending on the time, then back to Chisolm. Its more of a piddling, exploring, stretch the 40's legs, day with the dog and cruiser in the mountains, than an true off-road trip. But if anyone gets the notion, i'll be up there w no cell service, so I will have the HAM on 146.460 just in case someone comes up.

That worked out great! Met a new Cruiser friend, spend the day in the mountains, and all went really well. The beauty of a group like this. I even put a fish in the net at the creek after we aired back up at the end of the day, dog scared off a moose for me in the woods, then saw two more on the road on way back to camp.
