I have a 1983 Land Cruiser for sale. I did my homework, looked at a bunch, bought one, and then decided that I want a different one like an 80 series…. more aftermarket options. This is by far the nicest and coolest one I looked at….. hence why I bought it.
Details: Virginia Truck, has 185k miles, 4x4 and engine are very clean and run great! There have been no leaks or puddles in the garage or driveway where we park it which is better than I expected. It actually climbs my steep driveway on snow and ice better than my Excursion does! The truck was in bad shape when I bought it, mostly tlc, and it got a good tune-up when I first got it home. After that it came back to life. I used a Valvoline synthetic blend 10w40, new Bosh Filter, new Bosh Bosch-Platinum+4 / Spark Plugs, fuel system treatment, PVV, a general checkup, plugged several V-hoses back in, air filter etc and everything works except for the washer fluid in the back. Not sure why there. The body on the truck is almost rust free with just a little spot in all the normal places. Interior cleaned up nicely compared to how it was when I bought it. Interior has a tear on driver side but that’s it. As for carpet we scrubbed every inch and then hit it a day later with scotch guard. The carpet in the back didn’t come out as nice but it is still factory. Tires are 31x10.50 Michelins with 80-90% tread left so it won't need tires unless you want bigger.
This is a really nice little truck. I was planning on restoring it with some mods but the 80 seems to be a better fit for what I want. I will say that buying one and messing with it really helped me learn much more than just researching. I will post several pics on our site later tonight.
Call me with any questions. I am gone alot so if anyone wants to come and see it this week I will be in town, Truck is in Trafalgar IN. Asking $4000 or best offer.
Go to Carmel Mortgage Group Companies and then click on Press Life Motorsports. On the left hit the red FOR SALE and go to the truck. There is about 40 pics on there.
Enjoy, call with Q's
