Just learned from a COPMOBA post that there is a new and very detailed guidebook close to publication but the author needs help with funding to get it finalized. Go to kickstart.com to find it or just Google Kokopelli trail guidebook. For a small donation one could get a first run copy out in March. I can say from first hand experience this will be a valuable tool for navigating this long and often confusing trail.

Thanks Ace. That's a nice find. Looks like he is off to a great start and I would like to have this for both driving and MTB. I donated with the express intention of asking the author to incorporate the driving routes of the trail as there are segments that differ from the MTB portion. Perhaps we could include a club donation?

Here is the link.

Yes, that's a great idea with this trail in our "backyard". Other opinions welcomed.

Supposed to be delivering early copies, for those that helped, in March. Nice to have when we do the Koko pre-run. I hope he did cover the sections that are by-passes of the singletrack only. But those sections are mostly road and easy to follow. Can't get lost in Cisco!

Should have delivered by now.....

Just after posting above I got an update from author; it's still coming.

The guidebook has been published. Really looking forward to seeing the result. The author stated that there will be a special thank you to Book Cliff Cruisers in it.

Got my guide book a few days ago. Jonathan and BCC are in the book. Just a brief glance so far but it looks very good.
