HI, I'm new here and wondered if anyone has info on why my year 2000 KJ 95 compass in the console just has "NNNNNNNNNN" all the way around it. I took it apart and found the compass module, but can't get it to display anything else. I also have a satnav Blaupunkt and wondered if this affected it, but I removed the whole unit and it made no difference. Can any of you guys give me any pointers on what to do or where to order new parts? Cheers, Firemat

Can't help you too much. I have the same system sitting hereon my desk. I will be installing it in my FJ75 as soon as I get a wiring diagram.

Toyta does not list parts for these and probably subs the entire display out. Can you look on the board under the display and see if there is a reset button?

Hi Dave, I can check it out but if I unplug the compass module it makes no difference at all, so mabe it is a display error. I will have a look though. Did you pick yours up second hand? I would like to buy a new board if poss, but I think it'll be difficult to get one. Best of luck with yours. Firemat

There might be a reset button ont he circuit board. It no doubt has a non-erasable memory and just unpluging it will do nothing.

It seems there isn't one, I just looked.

The device seems to be made by these guys.

OK, try getting a price on F1603-60020. That might be the board???

Just tried their website, but there are no links for email or stuff like that, and my Japanese isn't really too hot! Will keep trying though. Cheers, Firemat
