I went to Kentucky / Alleyne Lake this past weekend (south of Merritt) with my son Andrew and my buddy Ian (who just bought a 100 series to go along with his BJ42). Built a small dock to make boat launching a little easier. (Yes, we did get permission from the Park Operator first).
The volcanic ash mud (white stuff) is very soft and I sank up to my crotch earlier this summer, so I pre-built the dock at home, disassembled it and then Ian and I put it back together on Sunday. Nice little project. will likely extend it further into shore next time as the water level was down.
