Some of you folks have met my father in law and 'ol riding partner Walt. Walt has been having some heart problems and they moved him up to Little Rock to the Arkansas Heart Hospital yesterday. His pulse rate has been dipping down into the high 20's and it's looking like he may need a pacemaker. I'd appreciate it if'n you'd keep a good thought about 'ol Walt for the next couple of days. TIA - Daryl

Done!

we will send a prayer for him!

lately I've been doing a lot of that!

The gun shootings down here are on daily basis some times at night it's hard to sleep, and then the praying starts! :hillbilly:

Damn JP, hate you gotta go through that. Keep that family safe!

Thank God!

Some good news today! We got to bring Walt home today. They have had some success treating him with drugs but still not out of the woods yet. Lots of tests to do and constant monitoring for the next week or so then the decision will be made about a pacemaker. Thanks for all the well wishes and please keep it up.

This here thread is not about me or where I leave or what I am.

it's about Daryl's in law.

Stop the hi jack and let the thread run.:flipoff2:

Show some respect.

Sorry Daryl, I sincerly hope your in-law is in better health and hope he gets well.

looking forward to meeting him!

Just getting to my email....
I'll keep Walt in my prayers.

Seems the quality of our medicine is getting better. Last week, my 88 year old stepDad got his carotid artery roto-rooted. I'm old enough to remember when talk of heart problems and clogged arteries was a death sentence. I'm glad to see all of us living longer. This ol' world's much more interesting with us in it.
Happy Trails! N

First of all, Great news Daryl! Second, Sounds like you need a vacation to the great state of Arkansas JP! Bout 7th of October I reckon.
