KDJ95 Diff lock retrofit

Hello, first post here.

I'm looking to retrofit a diff lock to my KDJ95. I want something electrical so I'm mainly looking to get something from a dead KZJ or KDJ.

I think I might be able to get my hands on a rear axle (complete with cabling, button and lock ECU) from a KZJ, however, the diff ratio is different than mine. The KZJ one is 43:10 whereas mine is either 41:10 or 43:11.

And so the question is, will I able to use the parts of this diff lock in my KDJ?

If you haven't got a diff lock then it means you have a LSD diff instead. You won't be able to retrofit the diff lock onto your current diff, but what you can do is swap the other diff over to your car including the diff lock and wire up the electronics.

Diff ratios should be fairly close if not the same, have a look at what it says?

Because the shape of the mating faces of the diff head are different... Stud pattern is also different...You need to do some cutting and welding on your original axle assy to make it fit...
Do a google search on fitting an E Locker...
Otherwise an ARB air locker would be your next choice...

I used A DPDT locking switch on the wiring but next time I'll use a DPDT spring back switch so after it locks/unlocks it springs back to off.
