Just ordered new FJ TRD LOADED

I have a new FJ TRD on order with lots of good stuff on it. I traded my wifes '03 and gave her my '04 for her Daily Driver.
Should be here by T-giving!!
Got an OK deal.
The new FJ will be my Daily Ride with the 62 as back up for those days when I need a real backseat.
Can't wait...............gm

How do I get a Sub Woofer in the TRD

This probably violates a Mud covenant - responding to my own post; but.........,the dealer that I ordered the FJ from says that the TRD can't have a SW.
I explained that I saw on MUD that it was prewired and that I should be able to order the SW and install it.
Anyone know?......gm

It is a Landcruiser.

I had a '97 Collector Edition and while it was a pretty LC; it was not a Special Edition. I don't believe that it was limited. It was a paint color with badging.
I believe that the new FJ is a return to the roots of what a Landcruiser used to be with today's tech and materials.
It is a class leader and it is very much a vehicle is the tradition of Landcruiser.
More like my 62 than my 100; however,I love them all..............gm

it may be the only factory limited edition but then there is the HERITAGE ED. by TLC. its got full OME susp., trailing arm skids, wheel tire combo, arb bumper ipf fogs, and interior overlay installed at select dealerships for $5995 and you can keep going w/ rear bumper/ladder full gobi rack and the sweet louvered (sp) hood. of course w/ tlc the sky is the limit. icon anyone?

The TRD version of the FJ will have both A-Trac and Locking rear diff. AND you will be able to run them both at the same time without the fear diff over riding the A-Trac. Does any one have any information on how this is done and will it be able to retro on the standard FJ?

It's easy. I've done it to mine, and it works GREAT! The front A-trac works really well, almost as good as a real locker. The two together is awsome. The mod is on here somewhere. All you do is snip one wire, and jump another. Both wires are near the brake master.

I was waiting for my dealer to get back to me after talking with a factory rep to see if they can flash our onboard computer or not to do this.

Some Gulf State dealers too are getting in the new SE with white pinstriping on them.
I think most will be looking at taking that off.

Thank you Corey, found the site and did the mod.IT WORKS GREAT. I do not know if it will void the warrenty or not. It works, that is what I wanted. Again, thank you.

I have done this patch, it takes ten min and one 50 cent connector. Hope you didn't pay 7500 for that.

Just got news that it can not be done to the 07s without a computer upgrade.
Well that is except for the LE all black rigs that have it now.
