well affter some debate i decided to just go for it. i picked this bad boy up in abborsford canada from a guy who collects military stuff, restores the stuff then rents the stuff to movies. he had a yard full of awsome stuff. I drove up this morning looked it over and other then a tiny bit of surface rust on the fenders (hardly anything at all) it was brand new. the tires looked great and everything worked perfect including the hand break and lights. I went to go get some money and they guy i bought it from pulled it around front swaped out the plug on the trailer for one that fit my lx450 and was going to swap the bulbs for me but at the last moment realized we was out of the 12volt type. All in all very easy pick up and great service. I cruised back to bellingham at 65 and almost forgot it was back there these thing pull nice.
The plans are lifting it, strip it, paint it however i have some welding i want to do to it before i paint it so it may be some time since my welders in az. so if any one in Wa some what close to bellingham has a welder i could use on the weekend some time ill buy ya a case of beer.
