Hi guys, I just got my 1997 LX450 in the driveway and decided to share it with you, so please reply by sending me this:flipoff2: seems to be the standard procedure for newbies. I bought the LX450 so I would stop putting my top on and off on my Jeep.

Two j**ps, one LX?

You'll probably appreciate the LX twice as much now!

Welcome on :flipoff2:

Dan.

$4500...thats a GREAT price for a locked LX,almost exact same milage as mine. be careful parking it so close to those Jeeps though...:flipoff2:

What are the future plans for it?

Awesome price, looks just like mine!

landcruisers4ever, thanks for the post. I see you're from Pensacola great city. I lived there a few years back out on the beach. I actually graduated from UWF. No plans at the moment for my new rig, but I'm sure over time I will add some mods to it. By the way any good cruiser mechanics out in Pensacola? The reason I ask is because I plan on going to Pcola in the next few weeks and I'm not that familiar with the cruisers. I have the famous engine light on, which resulted in a P0401 and P0402 code.

yeah theres a guy over by my house in Milton (15 minutes from Pcola)who has a shop and knows alot about the Cruisers, hes the only person besides myself I trust to work on my rig and he is very reasonable, he would probably find out why your engine light is on for free, hes done it for me more than once. On Monday Ill get his number and info for you, if you dont hear from me for some reason dont hesitate in PMing me. Where are you located now?

landcruisers4ever,

I'm currently living in San Antonio, TX for the time being. I visit the Pensacola area on a regular basis. Great vacation place for me...:)

Wow - smoking deal at $4500!

Welcome to the world of expensive parts and some hard-to-find items! I too come from the Jeep world where every part has dozens of suppliers with cheap prices.. Not so for 80s.

But they're worth it - they're like a leathered-up Rubi with 3rd row seats that is quiet on the highway!

Enjoy --

Welcome!!!:flipoff2: $4500 is a great deal!

A nice, clean, locked '97 LX with relatively low miles for $4,500 is a great deal. Do a good job researching the proper way to get all the maintenance current; primarily fluids and bearing service plus the front axle if needed.

You'll get a LOT of smiles from your new-to-you vehicle. It might even become the preferred wheeling vehicle, especially if you get over to New Mexico, or up to Colorado where there are mountains and rocks and fun stuff like that.

:flipoff2: <=== Welcome
