...as another satisfied customer. Dropped the 80 off on Monday morning and battled through 91 traffic (WTF? it was 1:00pm) this afternoon after receiving word that the work was completed yesterday. Eric and Jay re-geared to 4.88, rebuilt front knuckles and swapped out my 5" OME coils for 850J and 863s. One very important issue addressed was the clanking that I have been experiencing for some time now. The CV was bad on the Slee DC shaft. For good reason Eric suggested that I swap back to the OEM front shaft since I was lowering the rig. Drove it home and it has never been quieter or smoother since I took ownersip of the rig. Can't wait until the "break in" period is over :D No more orchestra under the rig!

Also, I was experiencing a slight vibe between 40-55mph. On my way home I dd not experience any vibration at any speed. I would always be able to tell when I was coming to about 50mph from the vibe. On the drive home I looked at the speedo and it read 70. The CV was probably causing the vibe. I will probably get it aligned on Sunday since I have an extended alignmemnt plan with Big O Tires.

Thanks again Eric and Jay!! Happy New Year to you and yours!

Nice! I know you were looking forward to dropping that lift to something more reasonable.

Aren't new gears amazing?

Matt, after driving yours I only imagined what it could drive like with your 5.29. My 80 is like a new ride now. OH WHAT FEELING!
