Sorry I had to run early today...but nice seeing everyone. Shared a cold one in some AC with BBQBoy, REDFISHBLUEGRASS and FMKV with his daughter...the newest surfer in charleston.
I would have stayed longer but was haggling with dealerships on used vehicles for daughter...driving back and forth from North Charleston to Charleston to Isle of Palms and back again...test driving, printing carfax, crawling underneath, inside and also bugging Glenn on the phone once as well when I narrowed it to three vehicles.
Tonight shook hands on 2005 Toyota 4Runner SR5 Sport...all maintenance done by dealer...all oil and filter changes done for life of vehicle...one owner, non smoker, new tires in great shape. She drove it from their home on Isle of Palms to her office in Mt Pleasant and that was it other than to Atlanta couple times a year to visit her mother. Life long Charlestonians and lived in their home for 40 years. Nice older couple...he loves to hunt so we talked while the women test drove the car initially...then I took it out myself. Pick it up Monday when I get her the Certified Check...take it to get detailed...and get plates and such done...so have a full day on Monday.

It was good seeing everyone again. We had fun talking about you after you left, of course. I am glad you finally found something for her and sounds like a great find.

hey if you were not talking smack about me...I would think you were mad. LOL
Time to start hunting for some 4runner mods. Very safe truck I had a 2002 and a T-boned my wife through a intersection with Anya in the car when she was 10 months old and everyone was fine and the truck held up very well. I think you will be very pleased with it.

no mods....it is my daughters vehicle...I want her to leave it stock though I am sure she will put in new stereo head unit and stuff like that. LOL

here is the scoop:
i got asked by a friend friday night if i wanted to go offshore on saturday. initially, i declined because i said, nah im going to this cruiser meeting....then the
chimes in. "no, you can go the meeting is on sunday this time"...after arguing back and forth for several minutes, she ASSURED me I was wrong and SHE was right. she even pulled up her calender and showed me.
well, that was the problem, it was her calender. not the actual thread on mud. i should have known better but i took her word for it.
anyways, i went fishing totally expecting to see you guys on sunday. even showed up for a few minutes and waited in the parking lot.
after about 10 mins i mumbled ....told her it was saturday and drove off.
anyway, at least we did pretty well. it was flat calm. left at 10:30am. took a 22 foot bay boat out 40 miles to the red banks. dropped lines at 12:30. we were in the fish all day and made it back to the dock before sun down and the low fuel light started blinking just as we pulled into ripley light marina. great day.
i caught a 35 pound dolphin and a small skip jack. other guys caught a 45-50 pound wahoo and a couple more skip jack.
