This month will be a vehicle spotlight, and since it is that time of year, it will be focused on “vehicle-based camping”. I will be showing my 2014 Tacoma with a V1 Go Fast Camper. Like most folks, the refining of my setup is never complete, but I will be showing the finer points and lessons learned over the years. This also includes my custom-built shelving system that I completed last fall. While the camper is setup with solar, fridge, and a permanent diesel heater, it is intentionally simplistic (no dual battery or crazy wiring here).

Our meeting location is Gallatin County Regional Park, which has a nice wide open parking lot to gather. We will likely be at one corner or anther away from the normal spots that fill up first. I am sure we can’t be missed. Otherwise, we will talk more summer trail runs. The Magruder is in a few weeks (12th-14th)!

Yep, its going to be a hot one for tomorrows meeting. But I think there is a very small section of shade I will try to nab. See you then!

Just wanted to thank all who attended last night. It was a hot day, yet we banded together and made it work (thanks @geo5 for the setting up extra shade coverage, plus other guys circling the wagons with their setups). We had a great number of folks show up and it was great all around. ....here was the sun set as I left.

Just here thanking you for the showing of your rig your meeting. Quite the engineering feat. Beautie of a setup. Good to meet some of you guys finally as I've missed every single meet up there has been for....oh....10yrs. Crikie. I'im the smartass making fun of your water spiggot....that my wife would love when we used to get out and about. Just don't get there much anymore. So now I know, and have been to Stephen's shop, already the next day as it turns out he's great friends with a renter/musician friend with my besties up here in Cottonwood Canyon. He's only gone past me a thousand times to do his music in the studio there that I built. And then met up with Rowe here, him bringing me his beautiful bumper for my 60 that got wasted on our road here taking out a Subie. 'I'll be back'.
