you can also build cariers from a couple of 2x4's and some canvas or an old pair of pants we had a few sets tht you could use when I was in the base kayak club... but i'm not there anymore.

If you plan on going to Pirates Cove my wifes family has property on the west side of the island so look us up if that is included in your plans. That goes for any of the cruiser community! We plan on building our cabin over there this summer so I should be there a lot.

cell phone coverage varies a lot, most of Barkley Sound has coverage, none of Nootka Sound has coverage, most of Georgia Strait has coverage, some of Desolation Sound has coverage - see cell phone coverage maps Bell and Rogers are the main providers here

do I get the foam carriers at the same adresses mentioned above?

Just FYI... you are correct; you cannot ship your Co2 cartridges on the plane. You can buy them here at any good outdoor store.
