I know he didn't get that crazy deal of a Tacoma the other day he was asking about. If he did, congrats, I haven't seen a deal like that come around in a long time. Really made me feel sick as it was so much better of a deal than what I got.

Yeah, i jumped on it about 2 hours after it posted. I was the number 2 guy. I had to wait 2 days for number 1 guy to default. I went to check it out that following saturday, it looked good so i put a deposit on it. Then it was just a waiting game on finding a time for me to meet up with Alex to pick it up.

Alex is a great guy. He meet me at RDU and cut 4 hours off my trip. I hope to wheel with him soon.

I picked up a new Ultraguage from someone at te Tacoma world forum for cheap. Should have it in a few days. Its like a poor man's Scanguage. I want to be able to check out my MPG so i can alter my driving habits.

Thanks Alex, We drove it to a wedding over the weekend and it did great! The wife even likes driving it.
Post up what those habits need to be.
I got 19 mpg driving without regard to mileage on the interstate last week. Ran a full tank from Columbia to MB and back with out the Topper on and nothing in the bed. My topper drops the mileage by about 1 mpg, and a loaded bed drops it another 1.5 mpg. If you can figure out a way to get at or over 20 mpg, let me know.
