Our first chapter event write-up has been published! A huge thanks to Eric "Doc" for the write-up and to all those that submitted photos.

Very nice job, Doc! My wife was amazed that my old beater 40 made it into a national publication......

 I haven't even seen it yet!

Good Job!

Great job on the article, Doc. We will have to talk about CM at our meeting in Feb. I wonder what trails you chose?

I wonder what trails you chose?

First choices were Golden spike, Moab Rim, and Kane Creek Canyon.

I'm really jazzed about going, but now I have to shop for a CB- as it's a requirement for attending this year.

Mine were Gold Bar Rim, Poison Spider Mesa and Golden Spike. I did Porcupine Rim, Fins & Things and Elephant Hill last year. Great scenery everywhere. Art and I did a private run on Kane Canyon the day before the event started.

I meant to tell you the other night, but your article was awesome Doc! Extremely well written. It was awesome to see rigs I've wheeled with and read an article written by someone I know in a national publication. Very cool. :)

How come everyone has their TT except me? :(

I must be at the end of the mailing route.

I don't have mine yet either. :crybaby:

Got mine, (finally!) they cut out the best joke of the article! :(

I was also surprised at what/ how much was modified by TT.

I am staring to worry that my auto renew didn't take. I guess maybe I'll shoot Casey an email. I hope I don't miss out on this issue of TT. Chad told me it has a pic of me pulling Dave out of the mud but it says Dave is pulling me out. Not a big deal. :whoops:

A similar situation happened last year with Matt Thompson and myself. It was an article about last year's Tall Corn that was published in 4wd Toyota Owner magazine. They had a couple of pictures of Matt, myself, and Jamie. The one main picture of Matt's truck had a caption that was all about me and my truck and my truck's specs. LOL Hell, they even credited me with the photo of what was supposedly my own truck (that I was supposedly driving at the time of the picture!). My g/f took the picture and it was Matt's truck. :D He was pissed.

I never did get mine or any others for that matter. I'm going to shoot Casey an email and make sure my auto renew went through. I did it on dial up so who knows? :hhmm:
