My wife has a Lexus IS300. It has somewhere around 85k on it, and I know it will need a timing belt at 90k. I figured I should do plugs at the same time, but is there anything else I should do along with the belt to ensure another 90k of trouble free service?

Another question....could I possibly score the parts through American Toyota?

Thanks!

While you are in there you may want to replace the crank seal, the water pump (since your in there already) and reassemble with new drive belts.

T-stat wouldnt hurt either.

BTW - nice car!

Crank seal and water pump. Good call. I understand it to be a fairly easy project, just time to take it down and replace.

Thanks!
