Interesting. Having been on Daryl's end of deals where I have bent over backwards to get stuff done for someone (sometimes staying up several nights to fit in all my obligations and newfound priorities) who showed no intentions of flaking, this doesn't sit real well with me. I assure you that You will be hard-pressed to find one person in the Cruiser community that has a more sterling reputation than @Bossman , so kinda irks me to see you couldn't even publicly acknowledge what Daryl has said.Daughter graduates this Friday.
You next to last PM:
"Well if you installed it to the truck and I got it with the truck, you could build it into the price if you wanted to. I figured I'd need a winch if I didn't have the lockers. If this 80 is what you're saying it is, im definitely in. Pictures would help a lot. I'm sure you live near Jackson which is a pretty long drive from me. I just need to talk Noel into waiting a little bit. The truck reliably getting me to work is priority #1. Wheelin comes second"
Your last PM:
"Awesome man. Thank you. I live about a mile or less from Cam."
Your last text:
"Hahaha I'm not looking for a warranty. Just like it will run. When I bought my 4Runner, the engine blew in 2 months."
Not sure what you expected a response to from these. I'm not saying you were committed to buying the truck but we discussed how little time I had to work on it without shifting priorities and you made it clear you needed to move quickly. A note saying you had moved on would have been nice that's all. No worries... Someone else will want an 80 with 123k miles on it...
I drove to nashville in a 60 to drive back in a sight unseen 100 with 178,000 miles. I then drove that 100 to pick up a sight unseen 42 year old piggy and drive it back 4 hours.
I may be too casual, but sometimes you just got to secure the cruiser and let safety stay in its rightful place (3rd or 4th).
