IS the a decent exhaust for my "new" Maxima?

Well, since they don't mention the brand name, who the hell knows? Chances are pretty good that it won't "hurt" performance. We're not exactly talking about a F1 car here. The biggest issue with lower line stuff like that is fitment. A BFH, expander, some torches, and a sawzall should make it a snap! :rolleyes:

I would ask them for a brand name and then drill down your research from there. Not sure what's available for your application, but Walker/Dynomax makes good quality OEM replacement exhaust for reasonable prices. Check into them.

00 Maxima

It just so happens that I finished putting an exhaust on my friend’s 00' maxima today. I believe he bought the parts from autopartswarehouse.com cost seemed pretty reasonable for all the parts. Installation was pretty simple HOWEVER there were some rusted bolts on the catalytic converter flange that had to be drilled out. One word of advice, measure all your parts. The pipe between the cat flange and the first muffler was about 6 in short so some welding was required.
